Absolutely. GW depended on a Superman that we didn't have. A bunch of Clark Kents will do great in a well constructed defensive scheme. I still have nightmares of Alex Smith shuffling 28 yards for that touchdown with folks in the stands being closer to him than any of our boys. That was a classic example of a baaaad defensive scheme. I really think a DC with a different outlook on playing D won't be too disappointed with what he has to work with.

Exactly, one or two key guys makes a huge difference on the defense. Look at Green Bay, it's all Charles Woodson and Clay Matthews with the rest of the roster in support. You can get by with the 'Clark Kents', but you need a real playmaker or two to rise above the crowd.
