The Pioneer Press reports the one-year marriage of CB Denard Walker and the Vikings will end in divorce. After an attempt to reconcile their differences, the Vikings are expected to release the veteran cornerback today. The Vikings tried to trade Walker but could not strike a deal. Among the sticking points was Walker's four-year, $13.1 million contract. As a part of a release settlement, Walker's contract was renegotiated so the Vikings will not be responsible for about $2 million in guaranteed money for 2005, according to a source close to the situation. The NFL approved the new contract on Monday.

I wonder if the Saints will take a look at him.
