Worse part of that scenario would be the Saints moving to LA.
I would have to find something else to do with my weekends because I would/will stop watching football if the Saints ever leave Lousiana!! |

I agree, I myself am I Bengals fan. I wouldn't feel the same way about the NFL ever again. Los Angeles doesn't deserve a team. They had two teams in the 90s and they couldn't keep them. Why do they deserve a second chance? They've got the Chargers!!!

We would have been fine. Payton had a rep for getting the most out of his QB's and I think we'd have found someone capable of succeeding. Probably a mid-upper tier QB like a Romo (who Payton wanted here) or a Freeman/Ryan type.
I think too many people short-change Payton in the Payton-Brees combination. Brees was a very good, but not elite QB before he teamed up with Payton. |
