The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports New Orleans Saints RB Fred McAfee's future with the team is uncertain, but he said he has no plans of retiring. "My deal here has always been wait-and-see anyway," said McAfee. "There might be room for me here, there might not be room."

The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports free agent C Jerry Fontenot (Saints) will either re-sign with the New Orleans Saints in a backup role or play elsewhere next season. Fontenot said he has discussed his situation with Saints head coach Jim Haslett and is not opposed to returning to the Saints in a backup role. The 15-year veteran also said retirement is not a consideration.
