I believe the nod will go to the Packers for the opener against the Giants. I think the Saints will get strong consideration, but in the end when the extra preseason game is factored in, and the Packers and Giants are the past two champions, it should be an easy choice for the NFL to go with Packers/Giants.

I do applaud the decision makers for pushing this game back a day. With all that is going on, it would have made zero sense to have the game on that Thursday.
