Check out this Insider post that looks at draft prospects that could be the next Darren Sproles.

Chris Rainey, LaMichael James, Devon Wylie, Isaiah Pead and Rodney Stewart (not to be confused with singer Rod Stewart) are the guys listed as candidates.

They’re all short, very quick and each of them did some very good things in college. But I think it’s a stretch to call any of them the next Sproles.

watching james againt lsu he could sure use a few more pounds in my notes, he's got it talent that is but i question his weight a tad lite.

The thing about sproles is yeah he's very small and very quick but he's also heavier than most of the tall players, sproles is a beast and the best acquisition since Brees came here

Sproles wasn't even the next Sproles right away. I remember Bush's 3rd or 4th year I mentioned I'd rather have Darren Sproles and was laughed off the forum.

The Saints are NOW the team players want to come to. They know, the Saints give them their best shot at a SuperBowl Ring.

It didn't take too many games last season for me to buy a Sproles jersey lol. I love the guy... absolutely love him. It's funny in hindsight that Reggie got all bent out of shape when we drafted Ingram but it was Darren who came in and made us say "Reggie who?"
