Well, it's official. Yasinkas has turned on us. :whatever: Calling the coaches and player arrogant, accusing Payton of running up the scores, and players of playing by their own rules (even during Superbowl week).

It's about time we're able to be arrogant. If teams don't want us to run up the score then stop us.

Hopefully all of this bad news will be negated by an announcement that Brees, Colston, & Nicks have all re-signed.

Jacksonville fans had warned us.... not that we could do anything about it. But the SB win was still our SB. They can't take that away from us. GW got us where we needed to be for a short while. GW leaves a trail as we now see everywhere he goes. Even if the Saints are the ones brought up as an example, as all have said previously, it's not like other teams don't do it. It seems that many SB winners have some kind of baggage, dating back all the way to Lombardi in GB. Now in the era of Spags, hopefully our defense will be viewed as arrogant too. I think I can live being a fan of a team who is viewed by opposing team fans and players as arrogant. Here's to having an arrogant defense to go with our arrogant offense!

Why I Think Pat Yasinskas Is A Great Writer

Because he's honest and fair and he confirms what no one has been willing to put to print till now...

In the league office this isn’t a beloved franchise (Saints) like the Steelers, Giants or Packers. The Saints have angered some important people in recent years.

Whatever, haters gonna hate. Most perceive the Saints as one of the best (if not the best) team in the league, and when you get an opportunity to get a cheap shot on them - you're going to bounce on that opportunity.

Anything that will give them a chance to take something away from the players and staff when it comes to the success they've had - naturally they are going to take that chance.

Maybe they can reassure themselves that the Saints are/were as good as they are/were because they weren't playing within the rules, but we all know that is complete crap.

It's purely jealousy, because everyone does this type of thing in the NFL, and while that does not condone the activity - it just shows how two-faced the league and the fans are.

Also, the "performance system" was about much more than getting rewarded for causing an injury, but it seems that everyone is talking about it like the pool was only about that fact.

I say screw Yankboy, and screw the rest of the fans of other teams that act "Shocked and surprised"!:brood:

So some rules were broken, the 49ers cheated the salary cap for years and nothing happened to them. If this was such a big issue, why wasn't more said about until now. Oh well time to enjoy being the bad guy, just makes each win and each 40 burger dropped feel even better, now I really want to see the Saints win this year so the whole team can flip off Godell after he gives us back our trophy

The only thing that really concerns me about this is that it may affect how successfully the Saints are able to attract potential FAs to join their ranks, of course it shouldn't, but it could.

This is an obvious ploy to keep the Saints off of prime time. They are trying to make us the bad boys of the league. This is total BS. I don't believe it for a second. You don't need to be Alex Jones to smell a conspiracy here.
