Saints' pick could be surprising

Most NFL mock drafts have had New Orleans going with the safe pick at No. 18: Cornerback.

"The Saints need to upgrade at corner," said B. Duane Cross of Sports Illustrated - who has the team picking Virginia Tech junior DeAngelo Hall on April 24.

But despite the obvious need at this position, New Orleans seems more likely to draft the best player available - rather than focusing on need.
