Question for the Forum
Since the Saints have already had Randy Moss tryout, why not Hines Ward?
If Colston leaves, we will need someone to go over the middle, and that is something that Moss has never, (and will never) do. If the Colston leaves, and the price is right, I would sign him in a second!! The title is mis-leading, but still a good video! |
I agree bring in Hines.

He's old and slow. Moss is old and fast. HUGE DIFFERENCE! HUGE DIFFERENCE! (That "Huge Difference" part is a Captain Ron reference)

I don't know bro. He looked old this year.

Hines Ward will get more money compared to Randy Moss this year... Might be just outside of our price range?
|
No thanks. Ward has nothing left in the tank.......unless you want to bring him in as a blocker. ;-)
|
I'd rather neither sign with the Saints ... Ward is old, Moss is a punk
|
The only reason Hines Ward would be good is because of our screen and short pass game. He is one of the top blocking wide receivers in the NFL even at this age.
Other than that half assing Moss > Hines Ward. |

I am just not sure if Hines Ward really has anything left. I guess it wouldn't hurt anything to take a look and see. As for Moss, I am torn on this one. I know Moss still has great talent, I guess it all depends on his mood. If Moss is motivated, he can easily catch around 75 passes, and be a major deep threat. Not to mention help keep the other guys in single coverage. But then again, if the unmotivated Moss shows up, then we all have seen the potential disaster he can be. All I can say is buyer beware...
