I love how everyone talks about "the facts" as though everything that comes out of the league office is sacrosanct and immune to error. The "fact" is that none of us were there, and even more importantly, none of us have actually seen word one of the evidence against the Saints. It is hard for me, firstly as a fan and secondly as a student of law, to blindly accept the results of some investigation of which all we have been told is the conclusion.
What if I said I have conducted an investigation and concluded that bounty systems are one of Goodell's pet issues and he is specifically targeting the Saints since they were the first to slip up. I have conclusive evidence and testimony, but I can't and won't post it here.

Of course, people want to believe that so I probably wouldn't need to, which is good because all I did was call up one of my friends and then flip a coin to decide whether his opinions were true or not.
