Why? Until we address our most important needs i.e. Defense, Colston, Brees, O Line, we don't need the distraction, we have plenty of talent capable of picking up the slack. Does anyone remember Stabler? Earl Campbell? Yes, Moss does look good and probably still has some game left in the tank, but really? we don't need him that badly.

Our "need" is relative to scenarios that have not yet taken place.

Why? Because HE'S RANDY FREAKING MOSS! Outside of possibly Colston no receiver on our team is in his league. Even at this point he'd still be our second best receiver. If there isn't a bidding war and his contract is reasonable and incentive based then the question isn't "why" it's "why not."

His attitude is really that bad...

He's still got the physical tools...it's just that he's a tool as well...

If he can't run fast then we found that out when we worked him out. If he's playing for the vet minimum and can't cut it then we cut him. If he's got an attitude problem I'd expect Brees and Payton to keep him in line. If they can't we cut him. No good reason not to give it a shot.

If Brees keeps the franchise tag he may have an attitude problem as well.:brood:

Let's see if he can establish some chemistry with Chase during training camp.
