I spend more time here than I do with my family. It's hard to say which one means the most to me.:wink:

I vividly remember when I found this site.

There I was, lost in the hell on earth that is, Oahu Hawaii.

I had lost almost all touch with my beloved Saints. I received the occasional call from civilization (New Orleans). I was resigned to my fate. The abject misery of having to live in such a miserable hell-hole like Hawaii was worsened by the knowledge that I, a willing volunteer of our Army was forced, against my will to sacrifice by being there.

At the end of my rope, I found the beacon of hope that is blackandgold.com! It saw me through the ordeal of having to sacrifice for my nation by spending four long years in Hawaii! I won't even get into the things my family endured. Long days on a hot beach!

Mark saw me through that and the years I spent in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs. Imagine having to go out to your deck and seeing mountain ranges! The things sacrifices I endured in the service of my country were lessened by the link to home that blackandgold.com provided.

There were a few lovely places like Iraq and Afghanistan along the way, but I'm not trying to brag about living in those pieces of Heaven. You should see them in the Spring! omg!

I myself stumbled across this site,fell down,and got stomped on a brief second!I proceeded to take my newbie lashings(:bs:)and lived to tell about it!WTF:confused:(joking)Shh don't tell nobody but....I brought that on myself TO A DEGREE!:doh:

There's many great posters here who keep things in perspective and are very knowledgeable .Every blue moon you find an occasional outburst of something from another planet(Pete is the usual culprit):smile:
I've picked up a great deal of knowledge here over the time I've taken up Space at THE BNG and love the atmosphere here!

I had never joined (and still haven't) another Saints site besides this one which explains me being so FKN rough around the edges I guess you'd say.Beginners luck??:bng:
@ the end of the day I'm proud to be a member here,and can't wait to see our fan base and organization grow to levels we @ one time probably never thought was possible.(speaking for myself here)

I totally agree! I joined during the lock-out, starving for Saints info. I am happy to have somewhere to go where we can disagree without trolling eachother, and speak our minds without getting modded. B&G is an awesome community!

Actually I saw many doctors for this very reason, and by the time Ole' Pete was DONE WITH THEM they were writing prescriptions for themselves.I've got 43.5 medical degrees on my wall they no longer wanted!You should come by and check out my wall of forfeitures FinSaint!:p
