Hearing rumors about Nicks..
 

Hearing a lot of rumors that Nicks and Heath Evans bashed the Saints on NFL Network during an interview after he signed with the Bucs.

I missed it myself, been looking for it. If anyone comes across a text version, YouTube video, anything, please post it here?

Didn't see it, but look how Walter(WalterFootball.com) graded the Bucs signing:

Once again, I can't support a signing like this. I'll repeat: Players who come from great franchises and go to bad teams solely for the money seldom pan out. It's apparent that Carl Nicks doesn't care about winning. He just wanted a few extra million that the Buccaneers were able to offer him. Now that he has his mega contract, will he give 100 percent? Will he care if Tampa Bay makes the playoffs or not? Because if he wanted to win and have the best career possible, he would have stayed with Drew Brees.

I also heard a rumor about Heath Evans yesterday on WWL.It was something pertaining to him canceling his twitter account because of him having relations of some sort with women via twitter.Any news on this?

Bobby and Deke were talking about it yesterday 3/12/12.Maybe somebody can bring the audio from yesterday's show.??.Supposedly a tweet came from his twitter acct. stating he was canceling his twitter acct. b/c of affairs of some sort with women.Deke said he was supposed to be on with him and Bobby already on wwl for an interview but I failed to get when.

I always liked the Walter Camp football website.

He (Nicks) was talking some smack about Saints fans on Twitter, as well.

Granted, apparently some people wished he'd die, so I can't really hold it against him if that ticked him off a bit....

I saw it and there was no bashing at all.

In fact it was more of ex team mates having a bit of fun and showing some love.

Nicks even said he isn't that type to give up information about the Saints.

I didn't get anything out of the interview really.

I'm bitter about going to an in-division team for more money. That's disrespectful to me, but, I don't really think it's worth saying I wish he died, fat, etc.

I saw it and neither of them did any bashing. In fact, Nicks stood behind the Saints 100%. He was pure class.

I was on twitter as this happened. In fact, I tweeted him right away that someone had hacked his account. He verified this a bit later.

Love this site.. glad we get good, quick answers. Whenever needed - excellent insight and opinions. Best forum for the Saints I've found yet.

I can't believe people were bashing Carl on twitter after he left. Yeah, it was a bit of a "me-first" move, but he was a good player for us and has always been good to the fans.

Yup. In fact, I couldn't help but like the guy even more after the interview. I loved it when he was asked if he knew anything about any bounties and he said that no, he didn't, but if even if he did he wouldn't say anything. Then he said he couldn't believe anyone would have snitched on them if they did.

He also said that the guys on the Saints are still his brothers.

Pure class dude.

If anyone out there is sending Nicks hate messages I would gladly step up to kick your ass for being a chicken-**** wuss. And your being a wuss would guarantee my old-arsed self could still pull it off.

Nicks seems to be a stand up guy. Wish him well except for twice a year, maybe three.

I think Loomis laid an egg on this one. No contact, no offer until the night before? Looks like we tried to play the loyalty card too much. Money seems like it wasn't that far off
