Saints solidfy offensive line with Grubbs
Grubbs is not as physically imposing as Nicks. He's about two inches shorter and 30 or so pounds lighter. That makes a difference. However, some evaluators believe the drop-off between Nicks and Grubbs will be hardly noticeable.
Saints fans can rest comfortably knowing that their worst fears have not been realized — their explosive offense has not been gutted in free agency. ProFootballWeekly.com - Saints solidify offensive line with Grubbs |
Truer words were never written. The offensive line operates as a cohesive unit within the offensive team. Yes, the Saints lost a valuable, individual player, but by signing a replacement like Grubbs, the cohesive unit remains intact.

Hate to lose Nicks But very Happy Gubbs.
