Does anyone know if the Saints plan to interview Kamerion Wimbley?

YES,GO GET HIM! GET RID OF SHANLE! We need studs at the LB positions. I want teams to fear running the ball and throwing short passes against us. If we can build a physical and solid defense no one can stop us! On an offensive note though,I do think we need to look for another receiver to compliment Colston. I don’t have much faith in Arrington.

Unfortunately, there's probably going to be a bidding war for his services, which the Saints can't afford to get in on. :-(

Sounds like Chargers, Bears, Falcons and Saints will look at him, I'd love to get him but I don't know if Saints can afford it

The Saints don't sign free-agent wide receivers nowadays. I guess they prefer to get them at the start of their careers and mold them into the Saints system instead of a free-agent having to learn the system.

Agreed! Between Adrian Arrington, Joe Morgan, Andy Tanner and whomever we pick up later in the draft or undrafted, I'm sure at least one of them will be a good investment.

I want this guy, but sadly I don't see us doing anything. If we do sign someone, it will be either Hawthrone or Lofton. I don't even think we have enough money to pay Wimbley what he wants, but hey you never know.

Is he that much of an upgrade? I don't know. Hawthorne is still an option right now. I really hope signs......based on the things I've read on this board.

Both of them are big upgrades over anything we have at OLB, work magic Mickey, get em both!

I'd like to see a FA LB; cheapest between Lofton & Hawthorne and then put 100% effort into getting Drew signed long term.
