Any news on David Hawthrone?
He is suppose to be visiting today and I haven't heard anything on him. Has anyone else heard anything?

It might be like the Ben Grubbs deal, if he did sign. Might take another day to get all the details worked out

With Lofton coming over tomorrow (or today) I don't think they'd offer Hawthorne a formal contract if it is a either-or type of a situation.

Hawthorne and Wimbley would make more sense than Hawthorne and Lofton.

Wimbley is goona want too much money I think...

Lofton and Wimbley would be better, if we can afford both - and we still have Drew's contract to contend with as well as this little problem of Defensive Tackles...

Hawthorne can also play weakside and I honestly believe Lofton would signify Vilmas release... I just don't see the money available for Wimbley, but I don't have a say in it. Trust in Loomis

I think it isn't going to be a case of signing both, but the one who suits Spags' schemes better and is willing to sign the contract which makes more sense from a financial standpoint. I honestly think it'll be Hawthorne, since Lofton seems to have other suitors as well. |
