A Pittsburgh Steelers plane was landing here? I was on my way home from working at the Baton Rouge store and a Steelers 747 was landing as I was passing the airport. Hmmm

Well if it's a Pittsburgh plane, I would think that they would be sending to pick someone up, not the other way around.

Here's an idea... it was refueling!!!!!! I work at the Pensacola, FL airport and I've seen a Colts plane and a Ravens plane... last time I checked, we don't have a football team. Speculation, speculation...

Don't get to worked up there is an air lines that has a plane all decked out with Steelers.

I did some checking on the internet and could find no info on a 747 painted in Steelers colors.

However, US Airways does operate a few LogoJets painted in some NFL team colors; the Steelers are one. However, all are AirBus A319-100 aircraft

Thats what the plane looked like. I just asked..thought it was weird to see that knowing who we have from our D available. Got me wondering.

This is something I heard or read on the internet, so I'm not sure of the accuracy, but it seems like I heard that you could buy one of the types of jets that Tom Cruise was flying on Top Gun for something like $150K.

Put me down for Zombie apocalypse protection, I've been watching a few episodes of the 'Walking Dead' lately and 'just in case', :lol:.

That's a good show! Especially the first season, but after that it seems that have hit a plateau in the second season and has gotten a bit boring at times - too much soap opera moments for my taste.

But a high quality show none the less, and the effects are really nicely done.
