Brees Tops the Power 100 in 2012
Why he’s on the list: Drew Brees crushed 27 years of NFL history with a new, monster passing record in 2011 (5,476 passing yards), just two seasons after he was named AP Male Athlete of the Year and won Super Bowl XLIV. Apart from record-breaking on-field performance—he’s the only quarterback to ever log two seasons with more than 5,000 yards—Brees is also a family man, photogenic, loved by marketers, and far more recognizable than second-place Aaron Rodgers.

Damn, now I'll bet he wants 10 million/season more than we offered.

Ironic how Vanessa Wong of Bloomberg sees what ESPN, CBS Sports, a pleothra of asshats on Bleacher Report, most of the talking heads that have played the sport or are currently "analytical experts", fans of the other 31 teams, and just anyone that is not a emmber of Black and Gold.com in general can not see.
