Benson is likely to fire a bunch of people.

There has been no reaction from the owners on this yet folks... And after what just happened, you're telling me that this would come as a surprise if it happens? I don't want it to happen, just saying it's a possibility. I didn't think Payton would get suspended for a year either, but...... it happened....

I don't think that clears up cap space, unless perhaps we cut some of the players.

As I've understood, Benson has a really close relationship with Loomis, so I doubt that Benson would fire him over this, because the bounty system wasn't administered by Loomis - he just neglected to do anything to stop it.

I doubt Benson would fire one of the best GMs in the league over something like this - the guy who brought Saints their first SB victory.

Of course I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but I think that it's very unlikely if there isn't something more to this whole thing that we are not aware of.

Yeah I don't see Loomis, Payton, any other coaches losing their jobs over this. We lost the one who was the catalyst of the whole thing and so did the Rams when they lost Gregg Williams...

Payton's gone for a year... a lot can change over that time.

I think Bree's deal will be done within a week but even if it's not the Saints still have until July to negotiate a deal and we have Loomis until the first week of the season. But I do believe it will be done now that Manning is signed.
