Stuff happens. Actually, quite a few people said that Schefter reported it. I re-tweeted, went from there on out.

Nobody is dogging you, we're looking for a link.

I'm glad you caught the rumor part. I just -assumed- which I usually don't do, since it was said "per @AdamSchefter" that it was legit instead of confirming.

I just slipped up. Also, Duncan went on (Sportscenter I think?) yesterday saying that team sources were saying that Carmichael was expected to be the fill-in. So since this was said to be via Schefty the next day - It seemed fitting.

Anyways, trying to get any type of word from the Times-Picayune at the moment. I'll let you know what I hear.

Also, the dogging part was in reference to the "chill out, quit jumping the gun" remark.

Besides we don't have many choices for the first 6 games, it's either Spags or Carmichael
