Will the NFL stagger the suspensions, or will they all come at the same time in the 2012 season?

PY: Keep in mind, the punishment on this one isn’t likely to be limited to just the Saints. There are former New Orleans defenders scattered about the league, and some are out of the NFL. They’re still subject to discipline. But it’s likely the Saints will have multiple defenders facing penalties. If a lot of them are facing multiple-game suspensions, the NFL might have to stagger the suspensions. You could argue the penalties already have put the Saints at a competitive disadvantage. But forcing them to play multiple games without, let’s just say for example, half their defense, would make the Saints completely non-competitive. If there are a lot of players suspended, the NFL might have to spread things out.

I wonder if captain obvious knows that is darker at night than it is during the day. What a retard.

Oh really? What's Goodell gonna do, go hire private detectives to find those players that are out of football and suspend and fine them? I'd like to see that one.

Going to be very interesting to see what happens next. With the way Goodell handled the first wave, I fully expect to see at least a couple guys get suspended for the entire season. A few others any where from 2 to 8 games. We can pretty much assume at this point that Jon Vilma is not going to be around in 2012, and possibly Roman Harper. My best guess with this is everyone at once. The reason for this is there is really no way he can stagger it because of the possibility/probability of player appeals.

lets see... the damning evidence for the coaches and FO was emails between the two. Did the nfl talk with the players via email? Now remember it is the conversation by email not the receiving of an email that condemning.

I am still waiting for the PROOF of the players taking players out, show me the carts and show me the personal fouls that were outside of the nfl standard.

Sorry i have not seen one so far. nailing the players may blow up in the nfl face. They have to prove hits and prove they were extreme and out of the context of common. Common personal fouls standard can be established.

This is going to be fun to watch.

will the players and the union fight this for the law suites of previous players? If they win on these lines this could hurt other players cases.

Or will will they fold and take one for the union?

i would love to see the lawyers figuring this one out. who can get more money out of which direction to go.

NFL aint what it use to be and never will be again. protect the money at all cost even if it destroys the game
