So we're $3m under...
And if we restructure Vilma, we'll get another few. Does that leave enough for Brees? I mean, if we have to pay him the $14m worth of tag money, we're screwed. It all goes against the cap, right??? Even if Loomis pays him a base of $3m, He'll need to give him a signing bonus of $20 which over 5, adds another $4 to the cap, right? This stuff is so confusing. And to top it off, NONE OF IT is in my Accounting 201 textbook. What a sham!

Drews franchise tag is already factored into the cap figure.
A long term contract may even bring that cap hit down knowing Loomis. |
im trying not to understand the dollar figures...it bums me out, when brees is signed long term then I will know life is all good

lofton and chambers signing should eat that right up

Once Drew is signed and the cap goes down, I dont still don't think were done. Don't bet on being out on Hawthorne. His offers dried up once Detroit signed there LB back. Besides Seattle he has nowhere to go, He also plays every LB position.
