Saints could face reduced Primetime games in 2012
|
The networks would only be hurting themselves...
|
Actually it'll be a better story. They would be fools.
|
The Oakland Raiders were one of the biggest television draws of the 1970s Monday Night Football era, and the Patriots have been a staple of prime time games ever since Spygate, so I don't buy into this at all
|
Go ahead-- punish us and watch the networks scream
Are you ready for some football? Seattle vs. Miami |
We will still draw those games, still the best show on turf.
|
Headline is misleading.
It should say... "Could Saints face reduced Primetime games in 2012?" Typical Canal Street Chronicle article. |
Couldn't care less if they don't play any primetime games... I'll just be glad if I don't have to listen to Colinsworth spewing his hatred at the Saints.
Super Bowl will be primetime anyway, no way they can change that. ;-) |
dang, are they also going to take away our scholarships?
actually, prime time home games are a pain in the butt for me, since we travel. I joked the last couple years that winning was killing me, because back when we sucked, it was always just Sunday at Noon. |
Imagine if Bill Parcells is hired as the saints', the media's favorite team this off season, interim head coach. Think we won't get 5 prime time games?
