Payton Appeals
Sean Payton will appeal his suspension today, according to a league source.
The coach is also expected to seek guidance on amount of time he will have to prepare his appeal, and attempt to obtain the full reports from NFL Security regarding the bounty evidence against him. Payton had until April 2 to appeal. Commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear in remarks to the media the appeals process will be expedited and sources said its unlikely to last more than a week or so.
