With all due respect Sorry SloMotion, I don't give Jason Whitlock thumbs up on ANYTHING he writes. Now, I'm gonna be honest with you, I haven't read this article. I was about to, when I saw your post that it was Whitlock. Jason Whitlock is nothing but a agitator. He writes very little about "sports". What he writes is usually something trying to get a stir out of people. And 90% of his articles has somthing to do with race. So no, I don't read Jason Whitlock anymore. He's an idiot!

Well then you're missing out on this article, it's a pretty good one. I don't like a lot of what Whitlock writes either, but boycotting him wholesale because he writes a lot about "something to do with race" is just kinda narrow-minded...sometimes even a bad writer can get something right and this is a really good "look in the mirror, America" article about what is really going on with this whole over-the-top bounty surprise and outrage.

I keep saying this -- the reason why people are so upset about this bounty thing, and the reason why the league wants it to go away quietly, and wants to keep it limited to just punishing the Saints, is because "Bountygate" is showing the world HOW THE SAUSAGE IS MADE.

The veil was pulled back on the NFL with this story, and that makes a lot of people uncomfortable to see what really goes on. Whitlock is only saying EXACTLY what many people here have been saying all along, about the hypocrisy of these punishments when Goodell is arguing with his other face for a longer season.
