wrong or not, Goodell can scream player safety all he wants but this has nothing to do with safety, it is all about money. Fans buy more tickets when P. Manning is on the field, not the sidelines. He can act all holier than thou, but its a sham.

There's NEVER going to be an end to the speculation, attacks from fans of the 31 other teams, the stigma, the fans feeling hurt, the fans feeling cheated, fans feeling hurt by SP or the team....

There's just not enough evidence to out there either way to sway one way or another. Will little conspiracies arise? OF COURSE! When humans do not know all the facts they fill in the blanks.

Both are media friendly, one of them implies that this whole thing is BS, the other implies that the crap was going on but they don't think the NFL's evidence is strong enough to do anything severe to them.

If ever there was a time as a Saints fan when we yearned for TIME to move on (besides the 1-15 season), this is THE TIME.

It is my belief that any time a person is suspended and loses over 7 million dollars, then they must have him dead to right with some sort of evidence or there would be a lawsuit already in progress.

You would think, but Goodell is the dictator of the NFL. There are no checks and balances, so he believes he doesn't have to present evidence. But this is where the arrogance of Roger will bite HIM. I don't know if it will happen this off season, but I believe it is only a matter of time before this goes to federal court.

If they had hard undeniable proof, they would have shown it. After all, Goodell has never missed a chance to smear the Saints image with stories. So why not show the evidence if you have it? Makes you wonder.
