Drew Brees coy about contract

All signs point towards they are trying to make room to get this done. A lot of nickle and diming with other players...restructures, cuts, cheaper players. Thing is, until they know the possible player suspensions it's impossible to move any closer. I have a feeling once we get that info Brees will be signed.

This!

Loomis is smart enough to not piss all over a franchise that he helped build. He will work the numbers to make Brees happy and kill the franchise if Brees gets injured. As long as they are better than Peyton Manning $$'s then this will be a done deal.
