Off-season villians
Yay!! Poll season is back!
There's been a lot of hate and bad feelings on the board, but who is Public Enemy #1? Goddell, Williams, some d-bag wannabe that took advantage of Gleason? allpollsaregay.com |
|
That Sean Pampillion or whatever his name is, is a low down piece of trash. He's #1 ahead of everyone else for me
|
You need to add Condon to that pole, IMO.
Also, your link doesn't work for some reason?! http://smileys.on-my-web.com/reposit...onfused-18.gif |

I actually voted the media. The TMZ of the sports world (ESPN) completely took the ball and ran with it on one or two unfounded pieces of information and blew the story up into such a piece of revisionist history where the Saints were bloodthirsty criminals knocking players out of games left and right. Pamphilon wouldn't have been as big of a factor if the media didn't play their part and give him the attention in this whole witchhunt.
|
Lex Luthor?
|
Maybe add tofu to the list? We have a six-way tie here and need a tie breaker.

By the way, what did Shockey do to deserve to be on the list? |
Sapp should be on the poll, not Shockey! For making that very likely false accusation about Shockey.
|
Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis, and Gregg Williams. It was their fault.
|
My vote is Goodell, simply because he allowed all the sensationalism to get to him, then let it spread, nurtured it, and has been working tirelessly to sustain it ever since.
Cerullo is a pig for starting this BS but if Roger were anything but a vengeful brat he would have sought truth, and in so doing would have squashed these claims before they even became a second thought. |
If I were to rank them in order it would be like this:
#1 Roger Goodell #2 Mike Cerullo #3 Sean Pamphilon #4 The Media #5 Gregg Williams I could care less about Shockey, since it's obvious Cerullo was the whistle blower. Pamphilon released audio leaving out comments by Williams that could have actually defended his and the Saints' case, and stabbed Steve Gleason in the back in the process. The media is next because they have taken the torch from Goodell and done everything they possibly can to hide evidence and paint a picture of near murderous proportions. In my opinion, Williams is only guilty of being the one DC who got caught spewing what is very typical rhetoric, and not toning it down when cameras were in the room. The guy is arrogant, but I don't think he intended to hurt anyone, as is evident by the fact no one was ever carted off. And I didn't appreciate that he never mentioned the Saints or it's fans in his apology. |

What do you expect when he was clearly reading a statement prepared by Goodell? |

He let himself get bullied into his statements. |

Tom Condon, Brees' agent, and I don't know why he keeps scaring your child - I'd suggest getting a restraining order of it gets out of hand. ;-) |

I say screw all of them
|
I hate all of them but not Shockey his name was put in by Sapp dum ass

Still, his antics last season towards the Saints, while with the Panthers, were unacceptable. |
Not going to hate as much on Goodell. Don't really agree w/ length of suspensions but those guys put themselves in that position. Plus, he still has enough goodwill for shutting down the whole San Antonio idea.
Everything in the media just sounds like mindless clucks from the View. Quote:

I am going with Mike Cerullo.
The reason the rest do not get my vote. Shockey- Didnt to anything Greg Williams - Did what everyone else was doing. Sean Pamphilon - Trying to make a buck. Roger Goodell - Trying to save a buck. Media - Trying to make a buck and a name for them selves... And well they are just dumb asses (was taught not to pick on the "slow kids") Then there is Mike Cerullo - spiteful, vengeful, little b1tch who had ABSOLUTELY nothing to gain from what he did. There is no motive but revenge, and who is now the "Director of Football Operations at Princeton".... Undoubtedly a position he received for his "ethics". |
It's got to be Cerullo. Williams could be gone by now and look at what they did to his former teams - Buffalo and Washington. Nothing.
Wish we were a former team of his. |
