Actually, he is just posing for a picture with what is probably a group of strangers. My son and his buddy's ran into Payton last summer at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas. He was there with his kids and spent several minutes talking with my son and his friends and also posed for a picture with them. He was waiting for his kids who were on a ride at the time.

Well, he does lose something like close to $7M in the process, so it's not all smiles and giggles.

Too add to this, the guy is a fierce competitor, it really probably hasn't sunk in but it will be real difficult for him when practice is full swing and the season begins.

I hate the fact that he's pretty much on house arrest for the season. But I just have this feeling that this is going to do nothing but make him a better coach. Think about it. He has an entire season off to think up new plays and scenarios that he probably wouldn't have the time to do. He will be watching from home so he gets to see the game from a different angle he will be able to sit back and evaluate every player, play, and mistake that happens without all the craziness going on around him on the field and without time constrictions.

Believe me SP is gonna walk in that facility as soon as he's reinstated after the SB with a whole new playbook to add to the already insane playbook they have.
