I heard on NFL Sirius this morning ( speculation from a caller)that the real underlying issue surrounding Brees contract is not Brees vs Saints, its Rita vs Tom.

i think thats crazy. Soap Opera, I dislike this crap.

I prefer to live in a Low Drama world also.....

What what I read between the lines of her antics, perceived intelligence and being all over the place, she may be a little Bi-Polar... Not a good thing at all for our franchise.

It could be true that its really Rita vs Tom. It seems to me since the offseason Tom has been more hands on. Maybe a lot of what the team is going through stems from Rita not being where she needs to be and doing what she's supposed to be doing. There might be the communication disconnect right there between Tom & the team. Maybe Tom gave her the job figuring he can delegate to a family member he can trust and this whole bounty gate thing spun out of control because SHE was the one who was supposed to make sure they stopped and she didn't or did so without following up and it just got out of control. Idk....it seems more of an internal family issue more than anything but it also effects the team if her problems stem from her not doing her job when it comes to football operations (which seems to me to be left more to the coaches and Loomis' people more than her). The timing is just fishy especially with the SB coming up and Benson buying the Hornets and her just being MIA when most of that work/resposibilty would probably fall to her. And 30 assistants is just crazy. She can't be doing THAT much that she's had to go through so many assistants.

Rita was the bounty snitch!

Rita steered Katrina here because she's a Texas girl and wanted to run the San Antonio Saints.

Rita was behind the entire Global Warming hoax.

Rita won the most money gambling on our bounties.

Its been said Rita doesn't even like crawfish.

Believing this is tantamount to believing any of the 100+ stupidass chain emails out there about the president buying his dog an airplane or about how you can tell which gas stations sell foreign oil to boycott (Hint: It's all of them.)

Forbes is a pretty reliable source. I am not sure dismissing some apparently irreconcilable differences between two owners (Blood related) as, not effecting something like contracts is prudent.

Her's a thought......maybe Rita wanted to fire Payton, Loomis and Vitt then start clean. Benson on the other hand seems to be standing firm behind his FO and coaches. That could have started a Rift.

If her approach was to clean out Payton and Loomis... I would have done more than just move her down to the practice squad.

If anything she was probably just being a ***** to everybody trying to prove something. She's dealing with the men's world of football and probably feels like she needs to be a stone-cold jackass in order to be accepted. Tom is just putting her on ice.

It could be just that they're trying to distance her from all the craziness that has been going around the Saints, so that her name doesn't get dragged through the mud - and media is just misinterpreting the whole situation.

It wouldn't be that hard to believe that a grandfather would want to do that for his granddaughter, and future heir. On the other hand, Benson himself can take it all with a shrug of shoulders.

She's still hot. LOL

From the way it reads Benson was trying to separate her "craziness" from the Saints.
If anything she needs to be point on these sort of things.. If Tom kicks the bucket tomorrow, she needs to be able to handle things.
