ESPN Trust thier story so much that..
its no even mentioned on their espn nfl page anymore....its buried to a paragraph in a article about bounty gate....seems to me they may be getting nervous
|
They should be. Multiple credible sources. This is the mistake Sapp made when calling out Shockey. It's journalism 098 for Christ's sake.
I hope Loomie has his legal team warming up in the Bull Pen. In fact if he doesn't sue their asses off I will have to lose a little respect for the man. This is way beyond sports now. |
In my opinion, sometimes you don't even need to sue over something like this... Sometimes just warming up the lawyers in the bullpen is enough to sort things out with a bogus "story" like this. Just firing up the legal team and getting the locks on their briefcases snapping open, is causing ESPN to have second thoughts about the wisdom of quoting this "source" of theirs and blaring on about it. Like a big battleship that can sail in to pirate-infested waters and suddenly cause miraculous peace just by being there. Sometimes you don't need to win, or even to sue in court, to fight a legal battle and get a result. I hope that's what's happening here.

yeah, NFL.com has nothing on their front page about this today, and now ESPN has removed it also.
Yeah, that tells me everything i need to know about this, and i'm glad i was right about it yesterday. |
What's new? ESPN tries to break a story before everyone else without any facts and their famous "sources" only to let it fade away into the sunset like nothing happened. Isn't the first nor the last time. Just a few years ago they jumped the gun and broke the news Kobe was traded to the Bulls... he wasn't. They rescinded and just pretended like it never happened.
Unless there's a game on, ESPN has been dead to me for a long time now. I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and watched a Sportscenter... which is sad because as a youngster, I'd watch it religiously. |

Screw that. Sue ESPN... Outright own them.
Turn their entire website and tv channel into a Saints Historical broadcast. |

The only sport espn covers competently is Premiere League soccer...and thats solely because they contract everything out...

Sources: New Orleans Saints' Mickey Loomis could eavesdrop on opposing coaches during home games - ESPN Chicago
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Stated in the video the statute of limitations for the Fed is 5 years and the statute of limitations for the state law is 6 years. However he didnt fail to point out other teams could sue the Saints ... REACH DEEPER PLEASE |
Here's how ole Sap feels about it;
I think Loomis needs to sue the pants off of them. I don't know about you guys, but I get NFL updates on the Saints for my BlackBerry(R). When this news broke loose it went out through a million different means of mass communication. This is know as slandering a persons name. As far as the moron "A" typical Joe Snuffy's are concerned Loomis did it and the Saints are the dirtiest team ever to play football in the NFL. I think Benson needs to sue as well. This is deffamation/slander of him and his organization (A Business). I hope they sue ESPN/The douche that wrote it/and NFL Media for spreading this. If they want to play hard with us, lets play harder with them. If they pinch us, we punch them. If they punch us, we shoot them. |

all great post on this one . ESPN is guilty as hell for adding more gas to tye fire. they know every saints hater or not will flip that station to hear whatever the hottest topics in sports has been in a long off season. if sueing has to shut them up so well.
