Vilma's Statement
Here's the confusion I'm seeing. The boys allegedly ran a bounty program to injure players. If true, and suspensions have been handed out, what reason would Vilma have to make this statement denying everything he has been accused of doing? The next step is appeal, but nothing will change. After that? Court. Like, real court. Court that is covered by the news outlets. In court, lying is perjury. And a crime, a big one. Having zero evidence to show, or refusing to show the evidence will result in a victory for the NFLPA and those involved. Vilma would be an idiot to continue the bluff. The NFLPA has to be confident that they have nothing.
I really wish I could play the tape out to the end. If someone writes a tell-all book on this, I'll buy 5. As long as they trash Goodell.
