I know that it will be virtually impossible to get to the bottom of it.

I seriously doubt that Vilma brought cash money into the dome and made the oft-quoted statement; I personally believe GW made the offer and somehow Vilma was linked to it.

Vilma and GW were linked at the hip........just sayin'.

Now they're saying he also put up 10k for Warner.. yet this part was never mentioned before?

Even if he had put up 10, GW gave him the 10k I read, then Vilma gave the money back to GW... so what exactly did he do wrong besides yet another speech?

BGWhodat, that's the thing I said and thought at the very beginning of all this mess, the day it came out -- this whole crazy story of Vilma and the $10,000 on the table, from the moment I heard it, it sounds to me like THEATER or a GIMMICK or a JOKE, a STUNT, like it was a PROP to get people pumped up and excited for the game tomorrow.... just like the wooden bats, or the fake doors with exit signs that Payton stuck on the walls -- and this particular one has Gregg Williams' insane and grubby fingerprints all over it. It just sounds like something HE would say, not something Vilma would DO on his own accord, or that even a psychopath like Williams would actually follow through and do it, really pay money...it sounds like a stunt to me, a very bad one, based on the insane ravings of Gregg Williams, but a gimmick nonetheless.

Without any evidence, all us Saints fans have are rumors. I think it was Cowherd this morning that said that Vilma was paid $10,000.00 by Williams.
But there's no evidence of that either.
This whole thing stinks and we might as well refer to the Saints as the New Orleans Goats.
