IDK, I like a good conspiracy-theory as much as the next fan, but I think you give Goodell too much credit in being able to plan ahead and orchestrate something so large & complicated as keeping the Saints out of the SuperBowl ... from what I've seen of the guy, he pretty much operates from the seat-of-his-pants without putting too much logical thought into what he does ... just sayin'.

It's going to be tough on this team but I for one think they have it in them and agree they have made some moves to shore up this defense and give themselves a legit shot.

i just dont get why the nfl wouldnt want the home team in the superbowl? what do they lose? if anything they may get more viewers because of it

I can't quote everybody but I agree with everyone.

I am watching SportsCenter now and Chris Carter and Jerry Rice spoke well of the Saints players. They said , basically, get the information out there if you are going to accuse. Carter said that if you watch Vilma over the games, years, he has not played to take someone OUT, dirty. That is proof , per Chris Carter.
Oh, Chris Carter said he did this game money thing when in Philadelphia when he , Chris, played there. Opps.

I am waiting some kind of way, for Goodell to say Brees must be traded to Miami. Why? Because this should be part of Saints punishment.

For other fans here from other teams, once again, WE , SAINTS, fans all agree, those involved in this goofed up. They were wrong. Dumb move. The punishments are very extreme.
