In fact, so many that there are none left and I am now short until I go to Musings 'R' us...Anyway, one of them was this; Mr. Goodell being the stand up guy that he is has said that the punishments handed out were not just for the act but also the fact that it was attempted to be covered up by the Saints. You do not lie to Mr Goodell. So, if he is so into doing the right thing does this mean that, if the proof of lying/covering up by Goodell and the NFL comes to light, he will suspend himself. I mean, he and his cohorts have actually lied to many more people and brought the NFL into disrepute and so the punishment should be commensurate to the act. Obviously he cannot suspend himself but surely by using the same stick he used to beat us with, he can be forced into a resignation. Or am I being too hopeful of such an outcome?
