I Ask You
 

Could you, with a clear conscious, take hearsay and half-truths, knowingly manipulate their meanings, and then use that fabrication, carefully leaked to the media, to cost people who have otherwise done nothing to you personally or professionally millions of dollars and potentially end their careers?

At 43 years of age I have worked with plenty of people that I didn't care much for - some even at all, but I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it and look my kids in the eye. I couldn't do that and sleep at night, even to a sworn enemy, much less somebody or some people who'd never done anything to me.

Who could DO something like that?

I'm telling you guys and gals, this dude has to be stopped. Those of you who are tired of hearing all the noise - those who are otherwise ready to just 'get it over with' and get the season started. I beg you to reconsider.

It's obvious that the two of you haven't met.

Oh, but you know, it's obvious that the Saints ran a bounty program (sarcasm). Roger wouldn't just make it up (still waiting for proof). They told us to stop (what exactly?). The difference is we offered money (again, proof please). It's ok that other teams were talkin' smack about hurting opponents, because they never meant to hurt anyone (hmm, that sounds familiar... did we say that? Nah, couldn't be).

So you know, pretty cut and dry. We're just homers.

He's a mother ****er and a **** sucker for sure. He may be a lawyer too. I'm not sure.

I have to look myself in the mirror; no way I could do what Roger has done. What really gets me is how long all this has taken, I mean Roger took zero time on the appeals denying the coaches seemingly as they were walking out the door. Just the length it took to get the penalties announced in the first place and the lack of evidence shown

He majored in economics. I don't believe he's a lawyer.

Who better to stop him than us. Unlike the rest of America we are used to being beaten, blooded, close to losing, and then we stand up.

Goodell isn't even close to the worst we have had to faced. I really don't care who is over this. Any true New Orleanian is not going to take this from anyone. Be it rational or irrational, a message needs to be sent.
