Good to see that Romeus is participating, he's one I'd like to hear something about
|
noticed that brian brohm is on the mini camp roster. did'nt he have plenty of trys everywhere else,
|
Flynn beat him out with the Packers but thats about it, I really thought Brohm would of made it in the NFL
|
3 Brohm, Brian QB 6-4 232 9/23/85 4 Louisville
I missed that one. Hicks number isn't listed on the official site but he relinquished #92 to Ayodele. I think he's #76. |
Is anybody familiar with these players? I know that there will be a couple of players from IR last year.
|
i am starting to poke around the list a bit. but just looking at the list the players are big!

7 Witt, Patrick QB 6-4 224 4/3/89 R Yale
How Did I miss this. |
and 55 Wilson, Lawrence LB 6-1 229 11/16/87 1 Connecticut
|
Derek Schouman TE from BSU was pretty good. I watched him play here in Idaho. Solid player, but not sure how he will do in the NFL.
|
Quite a few 2nd and 3rd year players participating.

Alex Daniels, DL/FB 6-4 265 11/27/86 2 Cincinatti
PS@ OAK - Dallas - NYG School: Cincinnati Position: DE/OLB/FB Class: 2010 Big Board Year: Senior Height: 6022 Weight: 269 Bench Press: 31 Vertical Jump: 36.5" 40 T: 4.73 Projection: 5 - fa 6'2" 269 FB that benched 31 times? dam lol overall draft profile sums up like this: Daniels is a bit undersized at 6-2 265, but nobody will question his natural ability. draft stock dropped to issues at the unv of minn. A versatile athlete, Daniels wrapped up an extraordinary collegiate career as one of the defensive leaders on a Cincinnati team that went 12-1 and finished the 2009 season ranked eighth in the nation. He began his career at Minnesota as a defensive lineman before moving to running back as a sophomore. He was the Golden Gophers' second-leading rusher in 2006, amassing 309 yards on the ground with five touchdowns. That was the last season he suited up at the running back position and for Minnesota. Daniels sat out the 2007 after transferring to Cincinnati, and played in all 27 games in his two-year career with the Bearcats. While most of Cincinnati's success last season had to do with its prolific offense, Daniels did an excellent job of disrupting the opposing team's offense. He finished his senior year with 56 tackles - including 11 for loss - and led the Bearcats with 8 1/2 sacks. Despite proving to be a well-rounded athlete, Daniels hasn't received much attention leading up to the draft and is unlikely to be selected. NFL Draft - Prospect Stats - Alex Daniels | Philly.com |
Lawrence Wilson LB 6-1 229 11/16/87 1 Connecticut
Selected by: Carolina Panthers Round: 6 (166) 40-Yard Dash 4.75 Bench press 24 Vertical jump 32.5 Broad jump 9'5 Three-cone drill 7.31 20-yard shuttle 4.50 60-yard shuttle 11.89 Wilson looks like a future backup who should be able to be productive on special teams. Has good height and speed but lacks the bulk or playing strength to take on and shed blockers against the run. Flashes the potential of a sideline-to-sideline player but isn't the most sound openfield tackler or the smoothest player in space/coverage. Could see action in passing situations with his combination of range in coverage and comfort blitzing. One of those interesting prospects who, despite his experience and productive in college, still has upside and needs polish to elevate his game to that of an NFL starter. Day 3, late-round prospect. National Football League: NFL Draft 2011 - Lawrence Wilson WHY WAS HE WAIVED? Lawrence Wilson busted for pot |
Nate Bussey last years 7th rounder is back. he was the other 4.5 40 lb we drafted

Quinton Richardson, S 6-0 204 12/24/88 R Washington
Height: 5-11 1/8 Weight: 204 Arm: 32 Hand: 9 7/8 Wingspan: 75 3/4 40: 4.41 20s 4.35 60s 11.40 3 Cn 7.02 BP 19 BJ 9'8" VJ 31 1/2 Well put together college cornerback who might not have the pure cover ability to hang outside in the pros, but has size and outstanding speed to be considered as a FS-conversion candidate. Questionable instincts, tackling and toughness. ProFootballWeekly.com - Draft Prospect - Quinton Richardson Washington Pro Day: One Husky who likely caught the attention of scouts with a stellar 40-yard dash time was cornerback Quinton Richardson. Not invited to the Combine, Richardson was the fastest of the players tested Thursday, recording times in the mid 4.3s. Richardson had looked like a potential draftable commodity after a strong junior season but struggled with inconsistency as a senior. Clearly, he has the speed to warant further investigation. Media members were partioned off from the actual workout and the results of timed drills was not made readily available. Josh Chichester, TE Louisville
Ht 6-6 Wt 233 Hand 10 1/8 Arm 36 1/8 Wing 81 3/8 40 yard 4.66 20s 4.41 60s 11.26 3 Cn 6.93 BP 14 BJ 10'5" VJ 37 Positives -- Wins every jump ball; a nightmare to defend in the red zone, a quarterback just toss the ball up and he'll go up and get it... Is a converted wide receiver so he's new to the position but shows the drive and character to perfect the craft... Very tough to jam off the line; his long arms just shoo people away from him and it's tough to knock him off balance, has the hip bend that allows him to dip the shoulders and get away from defenders... Not the best blocker but really tries to be good at it; just needs a coach to help him with technique... Good awareness; makes the sideline catches look routine because of his ability to get his feet down, always knows where he is on the field... Very good at tracking the football; knows where the ball is in the air and can make adjustments on the fly... A long strider who has the ability to run away from linebackers. Negatives -- Has a difficult time breaking in and out of his routes because of his length; needs to stop gliding into a cut and just plant and go... Probably won't be able to play much on the line, doesn't have the strength to be an inline blocker and will really struggle against large defensive ends... Has low acceleration; it takes him a couple of seconds to reach his full speed and by then the play could already be over... Production wasn't what you would expect for a player of his size and ability, never had more than 30 receptions or five touchdowns in a season... Tendency to lose his focus on routine catches; also tends to let the ball come into his pads instead of using his arms and plucking it from the air. Read more at Sideline Scouting: http://www.sidelinescouting.com/rank...#ixzz1ufuSfnUd Chichester is a dependable pass-catcher, as he averaged around 25 catches and 300 yards in each of his four seasons for Louisville. Like the other prospects on this list, he is still very raw, which means that he will have a lot to improve on if he wants to make an NFL roster. Patrick Witt, QB Yale
Height: 6' - 4" Weight: 225 lbs Arm Length: 31 3/8" Hand Size: 9" 40 4.90 20 S 4.37 3 Cone 7.14 Broad Jump 8' 5" Vertical Jump 31.5" Witt started his collegiate career in Nebraska but opted to transfer to Yale after Bill Callahan was fired. ok break time He is highly intelligent and shouldn’t have too much trouble adjusting to a new offense but his background and character concerns are large. Not only did Witt have some incidents while at Nebraska but he also had a run-in at a night club while at Yale A former Rhodes Scholarship candidate and highly touted recruit out of high school, Witt definitely regressed through his collegiate career but does have a chance to get on as a backup with the right team. A more cerebral pocket passer that can pick apart defenses from close within, Witt may not have great arm strength but he understands when to torque down and deliver a touch pass or rip the football to squeeze a pass into a tight window. Patrick Witt - QB - Yale*|*RookieDraft.com Positives: Good size and durability. Highly intelligent. Has a mind for the game — studies, prepares and understands concepts. Knows the playbook and commands the offense. Quick setup and short-armed release. Good short-to-intermediate accuracy. Nice touch on finesse throws. Experienced, three-year starter. Negatives: Average arm strength. Inconsistent spiral. Rattled by pressure — mechanics and judgment wane when the pocket shrinks. Thinks he’s better than he is and could rub teammates the wrong way. Has two minor arrests and sexual-assault accusation and character need to be evaluated carefully. Summary: A former Rhodes Scholar candidate and former BCS recruit, Witt is a cerebral rhythm passer who requires a clean pocket to function efficiently. Has the mental acuity to compete for a No. 3 job. ProFootballWeekly.com - Draft Prospect - Patrick Witt |
