I like both but would love for Kasey to stick around another year. I know thats blasphemy to some.
|
Hartley:
1. In three year in the NFL has yet to play 16 games in one season. 2. FG % has been on the decline since year 1. 3. In 2010 he was only 66% from 20-29 yards. 4. In 2010 FG% across the NFL he was 28th. 5. In 2010 FG% 20-29 yards he was 38th. I do not see where he is "Money".... Actually his leg has cost us in a few vital games... OT Chip shot from the 19 yard line miss against Atlanta ring a bell? We beat the Colts 31-17... How did Hartley win a Super Bowl? 31-9 still equals 22-17 victory. Where in the hell is all of this love coming from? |
Not a big sHartley fan. He cost us some big games. His miss in the ATL game cost us HFA in 2010. With a week off to heal our team, we win it all that year.
I'd rather have Kasay, but I'm afraid his contract will force us to keep him. |
Hartley's Stat's look bad he got some kicks in crutial times but he has a lot to prove. To be an elite kicker he has a long way to go. When this starts I will be glad to know we have Kasay.

Kasay. Take the hit on the cap and be done with it already...
But open competition - it's the American Way... ...except when a bunch of Tammany Hall or Daley Chicago Machine types have got the fix in... |
It would not be impossible to keep both. I'm never nervous with Kasay. One of the games all-time bests. Hartley having to prove himself may be the final motivation he needs. It's Hartley's job to earn. Kasay won't lose it.
