Rita promoted to vice-chairwoman of the board
 

Benson, who previously held the title of Saints owner and president, will serve as owner and chairman of the board. His granddaughter, Rita Benson LeBlanc, who has served as owner and executive vice president of the Saints since 2005, will now serve as vice-chairwoman of the board.

This just means she's not getting the reigns till she has her house in order...

Yes I am surprised. I thought she had gotten herself into trouble with Benson and was sitting in time out.

Those who can't....get promoted.

She was in trouble... She has been moved higher up to create some separation between her craziness and operations.

I don't know about the rest of you; but I don't have a warm fuzzy when Rita takes over.

I think there is a Rita magnet in Texas waiting to pull here her....
