Filmaker Consulted Drew Brees
Sean Pamphilon, the filmmaker who released the infamous audiotape of Gregg Williams speaking to the New Orleans Saints' defense the night before last season's playoff game with San Francisco, said he consulted extensively with former Saints linebacker Scott Fujita and current New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees before going public.
In a lengthy post on his personal website, Pamphilon said Fujita at one point urged him to release the tape, saying the linebacker, now with the Cleveland Browns, said "sooner the better." Brees and Fujita both are members of the NFL Players Association executive committee. "Scott reassures me soon thereafter that Drew Brees agrees with the NFLPA lawyers that the audio should be released 'sooner the better,' " Pamphilon wrote. This thread is missing a bigger, hidden picture. Well never understand what is really going on until Fujita or Goodell writes their book post-retirement.
This Pamphilon guy is telling the truth, I believe. It just sounds shady because we don't know the rest of the story. Here's a question. Why would Mickey, Sean and GW stay SSSSOOOOOOOO quiet in the beginning. They know how this is going to play out. And keeping their mouths shut is going to help in the long run. When this thing gets completely disclosed, our jaws are gonna drop. Promise. |

And this Pamphilion dude, as far as telling the truth, no. He's trying desperately to sell his product and make a name for himself. |
