this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Damn I was so pumped when we drafted him. I was riding on his jock! I wanted this kid to just explode on the field! I hate to say , it's all but over for him....

That sucks for Greg and the Saints and the fans. I think they'll stick with him. His potential is very high when he's healthy. If he gets hurt again next year, I think he's done.

Same here, I feel bad for him. You can't make the club if your in the tub. Good luck Greg. This kid did not suck. He was adam good football player.

Time to get Charleston back in the mix. He is no worldbeater but just a real solid backup that will make little misstakes and every now and the come up with a big play.

Probably selling furniture again... As for Romeus, this sucks big time, and it might be a sign that his physique just doesn't have what it takes to be a professional contact sport athlete. I was really looking forward to seeing him take the field in preseason like most of you, but I guess there's always 2013. ![]() |

I hate this news, out of all the DE's I thought he could have been the best under Spags. Maybe we will try to keep him somehow.

He does have the physique, but the scouting reports I've read about him suggest that he isn't mentally or skill-wise up yet to really compete at the NFL level - thought to be a project of at least 2 years to get him up there. |
