I agree Ashley. He did, although, seem to have a little more of an upbeat attitude in his voice. Probably forced himself to be more positive, last time he sounded like he was in a dark room, with a gun.

The thing that worries me is the effect that ALL of this off-season drama will have on the whole team through the season.

They are going to drag this thing out until July 16th.

Yeah I know, I definitely hear ya, it's a valid concern. But remember this: immediately after Spygate (and a lot of other offseason drama for them that year), the Patriots went 16-0, with loads of lopsided 40-burger, 50-burger blowouts along the way, were the #1 seed, dominated the playoffs, and they were one fluke play away from being undefeated and winning the Super Bowl. I think right now, if anything, the reverse of our fears is true... I believe this team is gonna come out focused and loaded for bear, us-against-the-world, with a huge chip on their shoulder, and they are gonna be darn nearly unstoppable.

Cant wait for the games to begin then this will die down but its not going to go away because the media just can't/won/t let it go. Sadily this has been taken to the extreme by GOODELL and the scars on the players/coaches is the worst thing. It just has been overhanded and unprecedented. Most would agree that some punishment most probably was in order. But it is a sad thing to use people for scapegoats like Goodell has done so he has thrown the first stone. Bad things eventually happen to bad people.

I have a feeling Drew is not the type to ever sit out a season... he will probably say it publicly very soon. :peace:
