NFL Rumors: Drew Brees May Have Known About The New Orleans Saints’ Bounty Program
This article is so full of Bovine Scatology, I am not sure why I even posted it!
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been denying ever knowing about any bounty program going on within the organization since the Saints’ bounty scandal broke. However, recently there has been speculation that Brees may have in fact known about the bounty program the whole time and has just been denying it to save face. Brees for the most part is one of the “squeaky-clean” guys in theNFL and has earned a reputation as one of the most respected players in the league. For all of these reasons it would make complete sense that Brees would deny any knowledge of the Saints’ bounty program; he has to maintain his reputation. Man I really don't care, the only thread I'm waiting to see is BREES SIGNS, lord knows I've been waiting a long time as we all have
|
1 of 2 scenarios exist. He either knew about the bounty thing or there wasn't one.

Brees knew about Bounties in the NFL, you can bet he has had quite a few placed on him... |
Did he know? We'll never know.
|
I wonder what odds Vegas would give on how long it would take Goodell to suspend Brees if he could prove that Brees knew about the Saints running a 'bounty' program?
|
If your in that locker room, I would think you would know.
|
Yeah he knew.
How many people in the world give a $hit? ONE. Goodell. |
So what if he knew? Who cares. Are they gonna now say that anyone who knew about it is going to be suspended? If thats the case they will have to suspend every player in the NFL
|
There are also rumors by anonymous sources that Brees may have known where Waldo was, who framed Roger Rabbit, and how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
|
I'm sure Goodell looked at Drew hardest
What he did to opposing QBs in 2009 was far more painful than anything the defense did. Betcha Brady wished he could have been carted off so he didn't have to watch the 4th qtr from the sideline. And now Drew wants to be paid for the pain he inflicted. |
I would think the significance of Drew knowing would be that he is the team player's rep. and is suppose to be looking out for the safety of not only his teammates but all players league-wide.
|
What kind of a dunce would think he did NOT know? I mean really?

Yardbarker is one of those sites like Bleacher Report, where any Joe Blow on the street can be "team correspondent" or "citizen reporter," right? Because the writing in this piece is really terrible and he doesn't even know how to properly use commas.

Brees gets paid millions to be aware of his surroundings at all times on a football field, and notice things that the untrained eye can't notice.
Anyone thinks Brees didn't know what was going on (or AT LEAST had a hunch about it) is kidding themselves. But here's a little secret: I really don't care. |
It is all semantics, folks.
I am sure Drew knew about the money pool (so-called "pay for performance") I am sure Drew didn't know about the bounties (so-called pay-to-injure"). See what I did there? |

complete BS. He had no idea of a pay to injure program. Anyone that believes that hasn't been studying Brees at all. He's not morally capable of that kind of deception or wrong doing, and would admit his mistake if he make it. Just look at him when he says he didn't know, he's not lying.
