NFL calls Vilma’s new suit “improper”
The league hadn’t responded to the Associated Press regarding Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma’s new Saturday-night’s-all-right-for-suing effort to overturn his suspension. The league has since responded to the new lawsuit, via a statement emailed to PFT.
“We have not yet had an opportunity to review Mr. Vilma’s improper effort to litigate a matter that is committed to a collectively bargained process,” the league said, via NFL spokesman Greg Aiello. “There is no basis for asking a federal court to substitute its judgment for the procedures agreed upon by the NFL and NFLPA, procedures that have been in place, and have served the game well, for decades.” NFL calls Vilma |
You mean served the league well for decades until you hired a pompous business suit egomaniac @ss with delusions of importance and grandeur as commissioner .
Come to New Orleans Godell, We'll show you improper :) |
Come on pherein, don't hold back, say how you really feel. It will do your soul good. ;)
|
Of course it would call it improper! Would you expect anything less?

Roger isn't going to address Vilma based on the merits of his case. Roger will hide behind the CBA unless or until he is forced out from under his rock by a real court.

Greg Aiello is 100% wrong. This is a personal lawsuit against Roger. The NFLPA is not involved and the NFL is not even mentioned in the suit. A personal lawsuit is the complete opposite of a collectively bargained process.

I think he's talking about the new suit Vilma filed:

If he's going after the NFL then yeah, I don't see him having a solid case but it's confusing. It seems like it's directed at Roger again.

Johnny get out their and do what you do best. Hit them as hard as you can.
