That just might be true.

Hopefully he is wrong, and it seems that he is just going by his gut on this revelation.
The signing of Lofton doesn't automatically mean that the Saints were/are looking to severe ties with Vilma. |
Vilma has restructured already I think. I don't know what the team would do if the league reinstated him. Would they cut him as a cost saving move? Hope he didn't pass his physical? My guess is that he won't start at Middle LB'er. His knees are still sore I believe, so if we could work him into a rotation that would be good. Keep him healthy for the long run to the final home game victory. I hope he comes back. When healthy he's still a stud.

The guy has earned his keep, let him go and rehire him as a Defensive Coordinator Assistant or a Line backer assistant coach.
Unlike other players that have gone, his end of career was brought on by not only coaching allowed actions but Coaching sponsored actions. The Saints owe him if he is indeed done... |
