After it is said and done

The poll is simple... I am one who like to take the undesirable past and lock it in a box forever...

I dont need to be reminded of Bounty gate, nor do i need to be reminded of all the negative speculation surrounding Brees integrity or decisions.. I like to move on.

I imagine they'll fade pretty quickly for the most part once Drew's on board and the football starts flying. There'll be occasional flare ups, but for the most part it'll just be the talking heads who get paid by the word spouting off about it,

Leave it out where we can see it and fuel our fires............we will be vidicated!!!!

Just like Doc said, it is forbidden to go back in time and mess with history. That's just wrong. LOL

I think it will be fine, the dust will settle.

But I said this earlier, I do think that for the time being, the Drew threads should all go into one BIG epic thread of ridiculousness, because there's a ton of duplication and repetition and every new article that comes out gets posted a couple of different times and the threads are really all the same -- "pay the man!" "we already offered to make him the highest paid player," "get 'er done, Drew!" "Get in there and sign!" "I need a stiff drink" etc., with the same exact discussions over and over.

On the other hand, the bounty stuff that comes out in threads is more like, developments, twists in the story, new information -- it's not quite as repetitive as the "waiting around for Drew" threads. There is usually real information there not speculation. Just my two cents.

NEVER HIDE THEM....

This entire situation should be remembered for the simple fact of the points raised here. Not everyone agrees with everything said/done/still to come, but the discussion brought out points of view/situation that would not have been on this forum in any other fashion.

No matter if you are a fan of the Saints, the game, etc. this situation has changed viewpoints surrounding the game and discusions about hat occurred this off-season should never be "Moth Balled".

No reason to hide them ...

" ... those who ignore history are damned to repeat it" and all that.

If folks still want to discuss the Brees contract - and it's implications - or the endless bounty situation, let them post where / as they see fit.

I think the format should stay as free as possible, with everyone having the right to ignore whatever they don't want to read / comment on.

The Saints stripped way more balls than they injured players. If they truly had a program such as this they were horrible at it so I say let everyone look at it for the ages to see it was all a bunch of b.s. bullcrap.

This exactly. Never forget how we were screwed by Roger Goodell in 2012, how Drew held the whole Who Dat nation hostage, and all the feelings we felt this last six months. Never forget, and vow to never let it happen again. We have to avenge the whole bountygate bs this season. God have mercy on the teams we have to play this season, because I know we won't have any.

I don't recall saying to hide them... Just kind of not in my face lol
