I'm sure the Saints want to see Graham do it for more than 1 year before they give him a mega deal. TE mega deals aren't absurd and once he proves himself again, it shouldn't be an issue getting done. The parameters have already been set with Gronk's deal.

Difficult to say, but in any case the increase in cap space for the 2013 season won't be much - could be just $1M or so due to inflation etc.

What the speculation has been about regarding to the cap increase is about the 2014 season and beyond when the new TV deals - totaling about $3 billion - kick in, but like I just posted on the Brees' thread there are some mixed views on it and some say that there won't be a significant increase because of the new TV deals, but that the cap will probably only increase by about $5M during the next five years.

So, we'll see, but as long as Loomis is the captain of the black & gold ship, I'm confident that the Saints will find a way to stay competitive.
