Well I think that much can easily be read between the lines from that opening article, but I hope not because I don't really see the point in bringing in yet another guy into a short-term leadership position.

Spags, Carmichael or Kromer - that's my shortlist for Vitt's sub.

My money is on Kromer. Spags didn't do a grand job as head coach and I think we need to leave Carmichael alone to do his job.

My opinion is that Sean has built a system here that should be able to run on cruize control for a year. Like others have said, he takes a hands off approach on defense so that side of the ball should be the same with or without Sean.

His offense should also run smoothly in his absense due to the verteran staff and a veteran roster and probably the best On-Field coach in the entire NFL not named Peyton Manning.

I think we can stay elite for at least one year without Payton.
