My memory seems to recall the Saints wearing Black helmets with white pants and white jerzies on the road during the Bum era. Don't have the facts to prove it. Just because the above link site doesn't disclose doesn't mean it aint so. The truth could probably best be found out by questioning Dan Simmons or Silky Powell, long time Saints trainers and equipment managers. Memory recall says 1984, but I could be getting a bit Saintnile as I also once forgot JoeSam had moved. Help me out Silky!
