Asking for B&G subscribers' feedback on a special BountyGate article
Good day to all.
Personal issues and situations prevented my writing interviews on 2012 draft picks and UDFA's. For those who were looking forward to them, I sincerely apologize. However, because of the magnitude of the BountyGate story, I had to take time to write a story on that subject: http://blackandgold.com/saints/46931...ng-enough.html Please review, and put your remarks in the comments section. I believe there are a few things mentioned in the article that have not been addressed elsewhere. Thanks in advance for your feedback. --Bill ("Stealthman") |
It was a good article, it brought up a lot of good points and honestly, I've been dubious about the scandal from the start. RG is going to stand firm as long as he can. I still think he jumped the shark with this whole affair and can't lose face and admit he rushed to judgement.

Read it. Loved it.

Great Read.
There isn't enough outrage from either journalists or bloggers. Everyone wants "IT" to go away, much like everyone wanted the CBA to be signed "just because" which led to all this. |
The only things I want to go away are the suspensions, espn, and Roger Mcbuttnugget. I don't think I'm even capable of letting go of the rest of this crap until the NFL pays for what they've done.

Thanks burningmetal. I'm totally gonna use "Roger Mcbuttnugget". "Roger the weinie weasel" just didn't have that poetic nuance that buttnugget brings. |

This is football for crissake, you don't ignore stuff and hope it goes away, you meet your challenges head-on, take your lumps and keep plugging away ... I'm a huge advocate of a return to the days of 'smashmouth' journalism, ... and oh yeah, I commented at the article it should be required read for all NFL fans ... lotta' good research and it really hammered key points home. |
